goldenn godess - my little black book

1. The Golden Goddess, TwoRuba

Celebrate the crème-de-la-crème of the catwalk with a cocktail named after one of the world’s most iconic design houses, from Burberry to Alexander McQueen. Whilst you’ll be hard pressed to pick your favourite from the collection, the standout sip in our books is the Golden Goddess, a classic Champagne brandy cocktail with a garnish of gold flakes, intended to embody the timeless glamour of Christian Dior. Elegantly luxurious, eminently drinkable.

Golden Goddess is priced at £15. TwoRuba, 5 More London Place, Tooley Street, London, SE1 2BY

jimmy choose

2. Jimmy Choose, Canvas Bar

Pull on your (high heeled) pumps, grab your fellow fashionistas, and settle in for the night at Canvas Bar, a new Shoreditch spot paying homage to LFW favourite, Jimmy Choo. Although this drink has a hint of a red-soled rival, we’re sure Tamara will forgive and forget at the first taste of the sweet Prosecco-based blend, which muddles bubbles, Grey Goose vodka, lime, honey and wild berry puree. A couple of these and you’ll be strutting your stuff in no time.

Jimmy Choose is priced at £9. Canvas Bar, 235 Old Street, Shoreditch, London, EC1V 9HE

iconic no5

3. The Iconic No.5, Salvatore’s Bar

Raise a glass to London Fashion Week in the sleek surroundings of Salvatore’s Bar, haunt of some of the world’s leading supermodels, not least Moss, Campbell and Crawford. Drink up the fashion heritage with the ultimate couture cocktail, The Iconic No.5 – inspired, of course, by the legendary Coco Chanel. Classic and uncompromising, just like the eponymous fragrance, this delicate blend of champagne, vodka, elderflower liquor and fresh lemon juice is garnished with a tiny fried rose and finished with a spritz of perfume on the stem. Perfect ‘pour femme’.

The Iconic No.5 is priced at £14.50. Salvatore’s Bar, 14 Old Park Lane, Mayfair, London, W1K 1ND

4. Tailored, The Athenaeum

A classic cut will always be in vogue, and this sophisticated libation will ensure you and your glossy posse are bang on trend. Inspired by definitive designs made new with a bold use of colour, Chambord and strawberry jam pack a sweet punch whilst whiskey and lime ensure it is not too saccharine. A timeless trendsetter which leaves a lasting impression.

Tailored is priced at £14.50. The Athenaeum, 116 Piccadilly, Mayfair, London W1J 7BJ

bum bag bellini

5. Bum Bag Bellini, The Riding House Café

Whoever said the haute set have no sense of humour has obviously not spent LFW at The Riding House Café. Take the edge off runway weary feet and enjoy a tongue-in-cheek cocktail inspired by some of the greatest fashion blunders of all time. Whilst a strategically placed lemon rind on the Mankini Martini is genius, it is the always-on-trend Bellini (inspired by the never-on-trend bum bag) that will keep us fuelled between shows.

The Bum Bag Bellini is priced at £8.50. The Riding House Café, 43-51 Great Titchfield Street, London, W1W 7PQ
