Cocktail Hour: ‘Limoncello Time’ by Vivo Taste
Don’t be fooled by appearances.
This may look like it should accompany your toast in the morning but there is nothing ‘AM’ here: this is juice of the adult variety.
Limoncello Time is a triumvirate of orange juice, limoncello and vodka, with a dash of lime cordial and lemon zest for good measure. Aesthetically, it’s no frills, but what it lacks in style it makes up for in taste: the sweet orange balances out the sharp lemon, whilst the smooth limoncello contrasts the kick of vodka at the end. On a sticky summer evening after a long day in the office, this is refreshment and then some.
Although best known for its spritzes, Vivo Taste also has a selection of ‘classic’, ‘prosseco’ and ‘dessert’ cocktails, not to mention nine ‘house’ concoctions (including Limoncello Time), all with an Italian spirit at their heart. With prices starting at just £4.80, find yourself a spot on the roof terrace and enjoy a slice of la dolce vita in Islington. Bellisimo.

Insta’ometer: 3/5. The cocktail itself isn’t the prettiest punch to look at, but the natural lighting and stone tabletops make for a double tap worthy snap.
